Titan has announced that Vice-Chairman Noel Tata will retire from the company’s board in November 2026, in line with the Tata Group’s retirement policy for non-executive directors upon attaining the age of 70.
The announcement was made during Titan’s 42nd Annual General Meeting. Noel Tata has been associated with the company for over 23-year.
Addressing shareholders, Noel Tata said Titan had evolved into a multi-category, multi-brand company over the past two decades and expressed confidence in its future growth.
The retirement is part of a broader leadership transition within the Tata Group.
Noel Tata is also expected to step down from the boards of several Tata companies, including Trent, Voltas, Tata Investment Corporation, Tata International and Tata Steel, as he reaches the retirement age for non-executive directors.
However, he will continue as Chairman of Tata Trusts, where the age limit does not apply.
