As of March 31, 2026 INR 37,273.96 million was attributable to existing borrowers which is 55.99% of Fibe’s Personal Loan AUM. This is supported by customer engagement activities, together with continuous credit assessment under which the company periodically revises or withdraws credit limits based on the borrower’s repayment behaviour and credit profile.
Fibe’s repeat borrowing metrics are as follows. In Fiscal 2025, out of 1.09 million borrowers who were eligible for repeat loans after closing their prior loans, 0.91 million availed a repeat loan within 12 months, representing a repeat rate of 83.92%. Similarly in Fiscal 2024, where out of 1.21 million borrowers who were eligible for repeat loans after closing their prior loans, 1.09 million availed repeat loans, representing a repeat rate of 90.70%.
A core characteristic of Fibe’s operating model is its ability to retain existing borrowers and generate additional originations over time through these existing borrowers. However, the company’s approach also includes continuous credit assessment, under which they periodically revise or withdraw credit limits based on the borrower’s repayment behavior and credit profile.
Fibe’s underwriting framework is designed to balance growth and risk management across credit cycles. It uses a multi-layered analytical approach combining scorecards, bureau data, portfolio monitoring tools, fraud detection systems and credit experience, enabling risk assessment at both individual customer and cohort levels. Customers onboarded are subject to periodic reassessment, enabling updates to loan amounts and tenors and assessment of credit eligibility for subsequent applications.
Technology forms another important pillar of its operating model. Fibe uses technology across its lending lifecycle, including loan origination, underwriting, risk management, servicing, and collections, to support effectiveness and efficiency in its operations. Its in-house technology infrastructure reduces reliance on third-party platforms, which enables feature deployment, customization, and control over product development. These capabilities have enabled Fibe to build a scalable technology platform that supports growth, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
The growth metrics of the company underline the scale of its expansion. Total AUM increased to INR 86,027.39 million as of March 31, 2026, growing at a CAGR of 45.49% from Fiscal 2024. Disbursements grew to INR 157,379.56 million in Fiscal 2026, representing 65.79% growth over Fiscal 2024. Meanwhile, the proportion of borrowers having a credit score of 731 or above increased to 86.15% in Fiscal 2026, up from 76.46% in Fiscal 2024, improving the customer credit quality.
Fibe’s multi product lending model opens new avenues for customer engagement. Its integration between the personal loan (PL) and purpose-driven finance (PDF) channels enables customer sourcing across products. As of March 31, 2025, Fibe’s multi-product portfolio facilitated cross-sell of PLs amounting to INR 2,488.14 million to customers initially acquired through the PDF categories, with a conversion rate of 14.29% for customers originated in Fiscal 2025, compared to INR 1,057.99 million with a conversion rate of 17.98% for customers originated in Fiscal 2024.
Customers are initially acquired through education, healthcare, insurance premium, through PDF products therefore represent a potential source for subsequent personal loan originations.
