1. Coratia Technologies Raises INR 18 Cr Bridge Round Led by MGF Kavachh

Coratia Technologies, a deep-tech company developing underwater robotic systems, has raised INR 18 crore in a bridge round led by MGF Kavachh, a follow-on investment. In 2025, it raised INR 17 crore in a Pre-Series A round from MGF Kavachh, Piper and SIDBI.

The funds will support execution of its INR 66 crore Indian Navy contract under the iDEX initiative. They will also go toward R&D on new products, core underwater robotics capabilities, and manufacturing and deployment for defence and critical infrastructure uses.

Founded by Debendra Pradhan and Biswajit Swain, Coratia’s flagship Jalasimha UWROV has achieved Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL-9). Its technology applies to dams, reservoirs, ports, bridges, pipelines, offshore assets, ship infrastructure and subsea communication networks. They can also support post-flood assessments of bridges, culverts, sluice gates and pipelines.

Debendra Pradhan, Co-founder and CEO, Coratia Technologies, said: “We are building a technology platform that can evolve with India’s requirements. Indian waters present unique challenges, including high turbidity, silt, low visibility and changing currents. Our focus is on miniaturising technology while advancing our systems’ intelligence, capability and deployability across defence, infrastructure and industrial applications.”

2. Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre Raises INR 28 Cr in Series A

Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre, an organised provider of mental health, addiction and dementia care, has raised INR 28 crore in Series A funding led by Alkemi Growth Capital, a Delhi-based venture capital fund focused on healthcare and consumer wellness. It is Jagruti’s first institutional round, as the network was built through internal accruals.

The funds will support entry into new geographies, more clinical and staff capacity, specialised care programmes and deeper insurance and corporate partnerships. Jagruti plans to grow to 40+ centres and 4,000+ beds across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities over the next 3–4 years. The sector remains fragmented, with care largely delivered through standalone clinics and small independent establishments.

Psychiatrist Dr. Amar Shinde and Vijaya Shinde founded Jagruti in Pune in 2008 as a 10-bed centre. Hemant Shinde joined as Co-founder and CEO.

Jagruti is Alkemi’s first investment in mental health and rehabilitation. Its portfolio includes Redcliffe Labs, Medulance and Datar Cancer Genetics.

Dr. Amar Shinde, Founder and Director, Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre, said: “When we started in 2008, our focus was on creating a space where individuals and families could access structured, compassionate and clinically guided care. Over the years, that vision has grown into a wider network serving people across the country. This funding gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation and make quality rehabilitation and mental healthcare accessible to many more individuals and families across India.”

3. Docterz Raises INR 5 Cr; Doctor-Users Contribute Nearly 60%

Docterz, a healthcare technology company founded by practising paediatrician Dr. Atish Laddad, has raised INR 5 crore from about 35 investors. Around 20 doctors who use the platform contributed close to INR 3 crore, nearly 60% of the round. The investor group also includes Vineeta Singh, Co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, and Avnish Anand, Co-founder and former CEO of CaratLane.

The funds will go toward organic growth and inorganic opportunities. Docterz also plans to build AI-enabled tools for documentation, administrative workflows, practice data and patient follow-up, and to reach more independent practitioners and smaller clinics.

Founded over a decade ago, Docterz offers an integrated platform covering electronic medical records, appointments, billing, vaccination management and patient engagement. The platform supports more than 5,000 doctors across India, with a strong presence in paediatrics.

Dr. Atish Laddad, Founder, Docterz, said: “As a paediatrician, I started Docterz because I understood the challenges doctors face while managing a practice. Doctors want to give their patients the best possible care, but they also have to manage documentation, staff, appointments, follow-ups and the many other demands of running a clinic.”
