Shashvat Somany Takes Up Role of Joint MD at Hindware
Shashvat Somany takes up role of Joint Managing Director at Hindware, leading its Bathware and Pipes units.

Shashvat Somany has taken up the role of Joint Managing Director at Hindware Limited, effective October 1, 2026. In this role, he will lead the company’s Bathware and Pipes businesses, with a mandate to strengthen their market position and sharpen execution.
Somany began his career in consulting, advising clients across the consumer, industrial and telecommunications sectors. He later joined Somany Impresa Group as Head of Strategy, leading transformation and operational excellence initiatives across the Group’s businesses. He is also the founder of Tattva, the Group’s corporate venture capital platform, which works at the intersection of startups, industry, deep tech and innovation. He holds an MBA in Technology and Analytics from London Business School and a BA in Economics and Psychology from UCLA.
