The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) has appointed Sriram Viji, Managing Director, Brakes India Pvt. Ltd., as President for the 2026-27 term, and Anjali Singh, Executive Chairperson, ANAND Group & Gabriel India, as President-Designate.
“Their rich industry experience and strategic vision will guide ACMA as the sector navigates geopolitical uncertainty and the evolving mobility landscape. Their leadership will strengthen our engagement with government and industry partners to diversify supply chains, improve access to critical raw materials and enhance India’s global competitiveness,” said Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA.
“It is an honour to lead ACMA as India strengthens its position as a trusted partner in global automotive value chains. Our priority is to deepen local capabilities and accelerate investment in advanced technologies, R&D and innovation, while embedding sustainability across the industry,” said Sriram Viji, President, ACMA.
ACMA represents over 1,064 auto component manufacturers, accounting for more than 90 per cent of the industry’s turnover in the organised sector. In FY2025, the auto component industry’s combined turnover stood at USD 80.2 billion, including USD 22.9 billion in exports and a trade surplus of USD 500 million.
“India’s auto-component exports are expected to maintain their growth momentum, with Africa emerging as a potential market for Indian manufacturers to expand their presence and integrate into local supply chains,” said Anjali Singh, President-Designate, ACMA.
Viji succeeds Vikrampati Singhania, Managing Director, JK Fenner (India) Ltd., who led ACMA for the 2025-26 term after being named President in September 2025, when Viji himself served as President-Designate.
