Amazon’s ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, has reached USD 1 billion in annualized gross sales in India over the past three months, the company announced. Orders have doubled every quarter since launch, making it the fastest-growing e-commerce business unit in Amazon India’s history.

Amazon Now has expanded to over 60 Indian cities and towns, a 4x increase in under 10 weeks, ahead of the festive season. Beyond metros, the service is now available in towns including Padubidri, Tirupati, Guntur, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Vellore, Dharwad, Warangal and Berhampur. Deliveries are fulfilled through a network of over 750 micro-fulfilment and urban fulfilment centres.

The expansion follows Amazon’s June 2026 announcement to build India’s largest delivery-in-minutes network, with plans to scale Amazon Now to over 300 cities. The company continues to expand its fulfilment infrastructure across Amazon.in, offering tens of thousands of products delivered within minutes or hours, over one million products within the same day, over four million the next day, and millions more through Prime Delivery.

Sellers on Amazon Now offer daily essentials spanning groceries, fruits and vegetables, frozen food, personal care, fashion and beauty products, small appliances, and home and kitchen items, all delivered within minutes.

“Amazon Now has crossed USD 1 billion in annualized gross sales in India, making it the fastest-growing e-commerce business unit in Amazon India’s history. We are on track to expand to 100 cities by Diwali, taking delivery-in-minutes from Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur in the north to Vembayam and Alamcode in the south,” said Samir Kumar, Country Manager, Amazon India.
