Agilitas Sports, a Bengaluru-based sportswear company, has raised INR 225 crore in a fresh funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners and Rainmatter by Zerodha.

The round includes INR 200 crore from Nexus and INR 25 crore from Rainmatter.

The fresh capital will be used to scale manufacturing, retail expansion, brand building, technology, and product development.

Agilitas Sports was founded in 2023 by former Puma executives Abhishek Ganguly, Atul Bajaj, and Amit Prabhu. Headquartered in Bengaluru, the company is building an end-to-end, vertically integrated sportswear ecosystem that combines design, research and development, manufacturing, and retail distribution.

The platform operates across sports footwear, apparel, and accessories. It also manages brands such as Lotto and One8 while offering in-house manufacturing and distribution capabilities.

This latest round builds on earlier funding, including INR 100 crore from Nexus Venture Partners and INR 400 crore from funds advised by Convergent Finance LLP in 2023.

The company has also attracted several strategic investors, including cricketer Virat Kohli, who invested INR 40 crore and transferred his One8 brand to Agilitas. Other investors include Anushka Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Hardy Sandhu, and Abhishek Sharma. In 2025, 58 employees also participated in an internal investment round.

Agilitas has expanded its manufacturing capabilities through its acquisition of Mochiko Shoes in 2023, a footwear manufacturer that supplies global brands such as Adidas and Puma. Revenues from this business grew from INR 642 crore in FY23 to INR 1,350 crore in FY26.

The company is also expanding its retail presence through Sportsyard, a multi-brand sports retail chain featuring brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Asics, and Skechers. Its Bengaluru store reportedly became profitable within two months of launch, and the company plans to open 10 additional stores this financial year.

Agilitas holds exclusive long-term licensing rights for Lotto in India, Australia, and South Africa. Lotto was launched in India in 2025 and has gained traction across channels.

Looking ahead, Agilitas is preparing to launch One8 as a performance-led sportswear brand in June 2026, focusing on innovation and functionality.
