Visa processing startup Atlys has raised USD 36 million in a Series C funding round led by Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, with participation from existing investors Elevation Capital, Long Journey Ventures, and Peak XV Partners.
Travel platform MakeMyTrip also joined the round as a new investor.
The company said it will use the fresh capital to expand into new international markets and enhance its AI capabilities. Atlys plans to deploy AI across the visa process, including document verification, eligibility checks, and traveller support.
Founded in 2021 by Mohak Nahta, the platform allows users to discover, apply for, and manage visas digitally across more than 120 destinations. Since its previous funding round, the startup has processed nearly 450,000 visas and expanded its presence in key global markets such as the UAE, the US, the UK, and Australia. These regions now contribute close to half of its overall business.
According to the company, it currently operates at an annual visa processing run rate of more than 700,000 applications and has recorded 11-fold growth since its Series B round in 2024.
The latest funding follows Atlys’ USD 20 million Series B round in September 2024, along with earlier raises of USD 12 million in Series A and USD 4.25 million in seed funding.
In February 2025, Atlys acquired the UK unit of Artionis to expand in Europe and strengthen its infrastructure.
