Sleep Science Startup DUSQ Bags INR 24 Cr to Expand Recovery Platform
Sleep science and recovery startup DUSQ has raised INR 24 crore in seed funding in a round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Antler India, Climber Capital, Startup Sherpas, Vaishav Investments, and angel investors including Avnish Anand and Shivam Puri.
The startup said the fresh capital will be used to expand its sleep regulation platform, strengthen neuroscience and hardware teams, deepen intellectual property development, and enhance its in-house sleep laboratory.
Funds will also support preparations for a planned launch in the US, targeting the growing global sleep health market.
Founded in 2023 by Siddhant Bhargava, Shalmali Kadu, and Mitansh Khurana, the New Delhi-based firm develops a sleep regulation system that uses adhesive wearables to deliver vagus nerve stimulation along with AI-driven insights aimed at improving deep recovery. The company emphasizes biological restoration rather than conventional sleep tracking.
DUSQ states that its platform is supported by analysis of more than 50 million physiological data points and combines neuroscience research with hardware design. Over the past year, the company conducted structured trials in its proprietary sleep laboratory to study autonomic recovery pathways under controlled conditions.
According to early findings shared by the startup, the system may help sustain recovery cycles and stabilise uninterrupted sleep patterns. In a market dominated by sleep tracking devices, DUSQ positions itself as focusing on regulation, based on its hypothesis that sleep disruption is linked to brain-body desynchronization rather than insufficient monitoring.
