Homeware brand Nester has raised INR 19 crore in a pre-Series A funding round co-led by Fireside Ventures and OTP Ventures, with participation from Sadev Ventures and Titan Capital.
The Gurugram-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to better understand consumer pain points and develop products with enhanced functionality aimed at simplifying daily routines and household chores. It said the investment will support further innovation across its product range.
Founded by Abhinav Singh, Nester operates as a direct-to-consumer homeware and kitchen appliance brand. It focuses on creating aesthetic, durable and functional products, including kitchen appliances that offer features such as steam-assisted cooking and modern designs. The brand describes its philosophy as “design-first”, with an emphasis on modern aesthetics, ergonomic build and multifunctional capabilities.
According to the startup, its products are defined by minimalistic design, high-quality construction and intuitive functionality. Nester said it relies on technology-driven engineering to build multi-functional products intended to reduce clutter and improve everyday efficiency.
The startup stated that its approach prioritises durability, ease of use and restrained design, responding to growing demand for purposeful and long-lasting homeware. Rather than adding excess features, Nester aims to focus on practical innovation that addresses routine needs.
Going forward, the brand plans to expand its portfolio while maintaining an emphasis on thoughtful design, consistency and long-term usability in its offerings.
