Indigrid Technology has raised INR 40 crore in fresh funding, taking the total size of its extended Series A round to INR 75 crore.
The round was led by Cactus Partners, with participation from Valour Capital, ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, Vimson Group, and Global South Capital.
Earlier in September last year, the company had raised USD 4 million (around INR 35.2 crore) from existing investor Cactus Partners as part of a strategic funding round.
The newly raised capital will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen research and development, meet working capital needs, and explore integration opportunities across the value chain.
Founded in 2015 by Sameer Narang and Rishab Purias, Indigrid develops and manufactures embedded electronic systems for the automotive and consumer appliance sectors.
Its product portfolio includes motor controllers, DC-DC converters, and regulator rectifiers for automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company also produces control systems for consumer appliances and battery pack assemblies used in electric vehicles and drones.
Indigrid operates manufacturing facilities in Gurugram and Goa. It recently set up an additional unit in Goa and has secured land there for a larger production facility. Overall, the company now runs three advanced manufacturing facilities across Manesar and Goa, serving domestic and global OEM customers.
