Metasports was founded by Kashyap Reddy (CEO) and Keerti Singh. Its flagship game, Hitwicket, a multiplayer cricket strategy title launched in 2020, has more than 20 million players across 120 countries. Revenue grew 100% in the last six months, and players spend an average of 51 minutes a day in the game.
The company aims to take Hitwicket to 100 million downloads within the next three years.

The investment follows USD 20 million in user acquisition funding from London-based Metica in April 2026. Metasports is also backed by cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle.
“Hitwicket stood out to me for how it brings the strategic thinking behind cricket into the game,” said Sachin Tendulkar. “Cricket has always involved reading the bowler, assessing the field and deciding the right approach for every ball.”
