Multiples Alternate Asset Management, along with co-investors, has led a USD 100 million-plus funding round in GIVA, a daily-wear fine jewellery brand with a presence in sterling silver and lab-grown diamond (LGD) jewellery.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Bengaluru, GIVA sells 92.5 silver, gold, and lab-grown diamond jewellery through its own stores, a D2C website, and e-commerce and quick-commerce marketplaces.
The funds will be used to strengthen its leadership team, build manufacturing capabilities, and scale to 1,000+ outlets in the next 3-5 years. India’s jewellery market is estimated to grow at about 6% CAGR to USD 124 billion by 2032.
“As we enter our next phase, we are focused on scaling our omnichannel presence and strengthening our manufacturing capabilities,” said Ishendra Agarwal, Founder and CEO, GIVA. “This USD 100 Mn+ round, the largest investment in India’s new-age jewellery market, gives us the strength to move faster.”
“Everyday buying habits are shifting towards lightweight jewellery that can be worn daily, and GIVA’s design-led range is built for exactly that,” said Sridhar Sankararaman, MD, Multiples Alternate Asset Management.
