Rotoris, an independent luxury watch brand founded in India, has raised Rs.70 crore (approximately $7.5 million) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures.
The round also saw participation from 9Unicorns, Centricity and family offices, including Diwakar Goel, Global Head of Data at BlackRock, Atul Singh, former Group President for Asia Pacific at Coca-Cola, and Adhiraj Burman of the Dabur family. Actor and television host Rannvijay Singha also invested.
The company will use the funds to strengthen research and development, expand production and establish a larger presence in India and overseas markets.
Founded by Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta, Rotoris operates an invitation-only model through its Registry. Its first collection of 2,100 numbered watches sold out within days of launching in February 2026. The company has since received nearly 100,000 registrations, with around 40% of demand coming from international markets, including the US, Dubai and Australia.
Rotoris’ collections include Manifesta, featuring natural stone dials, and Astonia, a chronograph powered by a Swiss movement. Its watches are assembled and tested by hand at the company’s Indian atelier, using Swiss machinery and Swiss or Japanese movements, depending on the collection.
“The design creates the desire, but the engineering, assembly and attention to detail earn the trust. We are building both sides of Rotoris with the same level of intention,” said Prerna Gupta, co-founder of Rotoris.
Co-founder Aakash Anand said the brand aims to appeal to ambitious consumers who see watches as a reflection of their achievements and aspirations.
“A Rotoris is a symbol of ambition, worn on the wrist. Our owners have already achieved a great deal, and they are still building, still moving, still becoming. They want the one object they wear every day to carry that. Many of them live in New York, which is why Rotoris House is going there,” Anand said.
The company plans to expand its Rotoris House presence from Delhi to Mumbai and New York as it pursues international growth.
“Today’s ambitious professionals, wherever they live, want a watch that marks their arrival. We are backing their vision to make an Indian brand shine amongst global icons,” said Karthik Reddy, co-founder and managing partner of Blume Ventures.
Rotoris aims to build a global luxury brand from India, with watches as its first category and design, craftsmanship and exclusivity at the core of its long-term strategy.
