BSE, in partnership with Meesho, brought Project Shikhar to New Delhi through a two-day awareness programme aimed at helping Meesho sellers understand opportunities available through the BSE SME platform. The sessions covered listing eligibility, financial preparedness, governance, compliance, disclosures and the role of intermediaries in the listing process.
Launched in June 2026, Project Shikhar is a joint initiative by BSE and Meesho to help eligible micro, small and medium enterprises explore capital markets for growth capital. The Delhi programme marked the initiative’s first on-ground engagement since launch.
BSE representatives briefed Meesho vendors on the SME listing framework and key requirements for accessing public markets. Participants also interacted with merchant bankers, including Smart Horizon Capital Advisors Private Limited and Corporate Makers Capital Limited, and heard from SMEs already listed on the BSE SME platform, including ENS Enterprise Ltd and Tipco Engineering Ltd, who shared their listing journeys.
“India’s MSMEs are the backbone of innovation, entrepreneurship and employment generation. Through Project Shikhar, in partnership with Meesho, we are bringing capital market awareness closer to a large and vibrant community of digital entrepreneurs who are shaping India’s new economy,” said Radha Kirthivasan, Head – Issuer Relations and Corporate Sales, BSE.
“Through Project Shikhar, we are connecting entrepreneurs in our seller ecosystem with BSE and the wider capital-markets ecosystem, giving them access to the right information and expertise to understand what being listing-ready entails,” said Lopamudra Rao, Head of Corporate Affairs, Meesho.
