L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has opened its AI-Native EI Lab for Digital Manufacturing in Bengaluru, its first such facility in India. The lab lets customers and partners evaluate AI-native manufacturing, digital twins and autonomous systems across an industrial lifecycle, from digital engineering and virtual validation to connected production and intelligent operations. LTTS plans a similar facility in the US by the end of its current financial year.

The lab has four connected capability areas: manufacturing intelligence, an AI-native factory layer, operations AI and autonomy, and the company’s EIOne platform. Manufacturing intelligence includes a production-planning and supply-chain view, while the factory layer links digital twins with machines, robots, cobots, drones and other autonomous systems.

The environment runs on NVIDIA technologies including Omniverse, Isaac Sim and OpenUSD-based digital-twin workflows. LTTS said its operations layer includes a verification gate that checks actions generated by AI agent swarms before they reach a machine. The company has not independently measured the gate’s effectiveness. The lab is a demonstration and validation environment rather than a fully autonomous factory.
