Funding Roundup: Zinara and The Dough Therapy Raise Fresh Capital

1. Zinara Raises INR 3.61 Crore in Pre-Seed Round Led by Inflection Point Ventures

Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Zinara has raised INR 3.61 crore (USD 380,000) in a pre-seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), with participation from Nine Jewellery, actor Nikita Dutta and other angel investors.

The funds will be used to build the team, accelerate marketing and strengthen supply-chain infrastructure. Founded by IIT Delhi alumni Harshit Abrol and Sumanyu Vyas, Zinara has crossed INR 1 crore in ARR and offers more than 400 designs in 18K gold vermeil and lab-grown diamonds.

The brand operates a digital-first model and offers lifetime warranty, buyback and exchange options.

“We believe the next chapter of diamond jewellery in India will be about making it part of everyday life, not just reserved for special occasions,” said Harshit Abrol, Co-founder and CEO, Zinara.

2. The Dough Therapy Raises INR 5.25 Crore at INR 35 Crore Valuation

Mumbai-based gourmet pizza brand The Dough Therapy has raised INR 5.25 crore at a valuation of INR 35 crore in its first institutional seed round. The round was led by Michigan Capital Advisors Ltd. (MCAL), formerly Melwani Finance Limited, with participation from Equiglobe Investment Pvt. Ltd.

The company will allocate 60% of the capital towards expansion, 15% towards marketing and 25% towards supply-chain infrastructure, centralised operations and kitchen technology.

Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dedhia, Mohit Chheda and Gaurav Majrekar, The Dough Therapy currently operates 10 outlets in Mumbai and offers more than 30 vegetarian and vegan pizza varieties. It plans to expand to 20 outlets across India over the next 12 months through company-owned outlets, dine-in formats and franchise partnerships.
