Bajaj Finance, part of Bajaj Finserv, has acquired a 5 per cent stake in TrueFan AI, an AI-powered video generation platform. The Gurugram-based startup had previously raised USD 10 million in a Series A round led by Baring Private Equity Partners India and Z3 Partners in June this year.
Founded in 2020 by Devender Bindal, Nimish Goel and Nevaid Aggarwal, TrueFan AI offers an enterprise video platform that uses generative AI to create personalised, studio-quality videos and avatars from a single recording. Its deep-learning models synthesise facial dynamics, gestures and voice to generate up to 500,000 localised videos per minute across more than 175 languages.
The platform serves over 100 enterprise clients, including HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, Zomato, Cipla and BharatPe. Its flagship product, TF Studio, allows brands to create personalised messages in bulk, localise content for different markets, and deploy brand ambassador avatars. TrueFan AI plans to expand beyond India into Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the US, citing existing demand from these markets.
The company reported revenue of Rs 17.1 crore (around USD 2 million) in FY25, up 131 per cent year-on-year. Bajaj Finance has deployed TrueFan’s platform at scale for customer engagement and dealer enablement, as part of its broader push into AI-led automation and personalisation.
