Aeron Systems, a Pune-based deep-tech company developing navigation, weather sensing, and intelligent monitoring solutions for aerospace, defence, and industrial applications, has raised INR 45 crore in Pre-Series B funding, jointly led by Riverwalk Holdings and MGF-Kavachh (MountTech Growth Fund).
The funding will support expansion of manufacturing capacity for advanced inertial navigation systems, accelerate research and development, and strengthen Aeron’s presence in international markets.
Founded 18 years ago, Aeron Systems has built a portfolio of indigenous products spanning inertial navigation systems, air data computers, weather and environmental sensing solutions, flight test instrumentation, avionics, and resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) technologies. These solutions support aircraft, helicopters, unmanned platforms, missiles, armoured vehicles, and naval platforms. The company’s technologies are used by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Indian Army, and the Indian Navy.
“This investment marks an important milestone for Aeron Systems as we enter our next phase of growth,” said Ashvani Shukla, Co-Founder and CEO, Aeron Systems. “We are delighted to partner with investors who share our long-term vision of building globally competitive technologies from India while supporting the country’s strategic and technological self-reliance.”
“Aeron Systems is one of the most unique companies being built out of India,” said Abhishek Singh, Principal, Riverwalk Holdings. “The team has built a product stack that sits squarely at the intersection of two of the decade’s biggest global tailwinds β inertial navigation for GPS-denied, spoofed, and jammed environments, and intelligent utility-scale solar adoption through a combined software and hardware stack.”
