Parle’s distribution network includes more than 130 manufacturing units, 7,000 distributors and over 75 lakh retail outlets. Four brands in its portfolio generate more than INR 1,000 crore in annual revenue. The company has a direct presence in more than 10 countries and exports to over 125 countries.
Mayank Shah, Chief Marketing Officer, Parle Products, said, “A household that reaches for the same biscuit week after week is telling you something advertising cannot. Being recognised as India’s Most Chosen FMCG Brand for the 14th consecutive year reflects the trust that generations of consumers have placed in Parle for close to a century.”
He added that the company’s reach is supported by its product quality, value, distribution and pricing, while its portfolio has evolved with changing consumer preferences.
The Brand Footprint report has been published in India since 2013. It ranks FMCG brands based on consumer purchase behaviour. A brand’s CRPs can increase either by reaching more households or through more frequent purchases by existing households.
Founded in 1929 in Mumbai, Parle Products makes biscuits and confectionery. Its portfolio includes Parle-G, Monaco, Krackjack, Hide & Seek and Melody.
