CBIZ Completes Acquisition of India-based BINDZ Consulting

CBIZ, a US-based professional services advisor to middle-market companies, has completed its acquisition of India-based BINDZ Consulting Private Limited. The move marks the final stage of a multi-year collaboration between the two firms and strengthens CBIZ’s global delivery capabilities.

BINDZ Consulting, previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Staffing Accountants LLC, has been working closely with CBIZ since 2023 through a service centre partnership in India. In 2024, the companies entered a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) arrangement, which laid the foundation for the full acquisition announced now.

With this deal, more than 250 professionals from BINDZ will join CBIZ’s global workforce. The company said the integration will help improve delivery across accounting and tax services while expanding its India-based operations.

CBIZ President and CEO Jerry Grisko said the acquisition strengthens the company’s global capabilities and supports its long-term client strategy. He said, “Bringing the team fully into CBIZ strengthens our global capabilities and expands our ability to support clients as they grow. This allows us to better scale expertise, deepen collaboration, and continue delivering the insights and impact our clients expect from us.”

BINDZ leadership will continue to play a key role in the expanded organisation. Sirish Korada, Managing Director and CEO of BINDZ, said the integration opens new opportunities for the team. CBIZ said the acquisition is aimed at creating a more unified operating model between its US and India teams. Both sides will now work as integrated delivery units, collaborating on client engagements and service execution.

The company also plans to continue investing in its India operations, focusing on combining talent with technology and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and scalability. It sees India as a key hub for high-volume and high-precision professional services delivery.

BINDZ has been supporting CBIZ’s accounting and tax functions and is expected to enhance capacity across service lines after integration. The acquisition also aligns with CBIZ’s broader goal of building a globally connected talent network.

CBIZ currently operates with more than 9,500 employees across 23 major markets in the US and India, offering services in accounting, tax, advisory, insurance, benefits, and technology.
