Gnani.ai Raises INR 68 Cr Funding Led by Aavishkaar Capital

Gnani.ai, a voice-first generative AI company, has raised INR 68 crore (about USD 7.17 million) in a funding round led by Aavishkaar Capital, according to regulatory filings. This marks the company’s first capital raise in 2026.
The company’s board approved the allotment of 1,647 compulsory convertible preference shares at an issue price of INR 4,12,291.79 per share to secure the funding.

Founded in 2016 by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, Gnani.ai develops a voice-first generative AI platform designed to help businesses automate customer interactions across channels such as voice, chat, and messaging. Its offerings include a no-code, omnichannel AI suite with features like conversational automation, agent assistance, voice biometrics, and analytics.
The Bengaluru-based startup has shown strong financial performance in recent years. In FY25, its revenue increased to INR 53.87 crore from INR 23.09 crore in FY24. The company also reported a net profit of INR 3.19 crore, compared to a loss of INR 51 lakh in the previous fiscal year.
Previously, in July 2024, Gnani.ai had raised INR 30 crore in a Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures.
