Confluxe Raises USD 1.6 Mn Funding Led by Wavemaker

Bengaluru-based startup Confluxe has raised USD 1.6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Wavemaker Partners, with participation from Kriscore Capital.

The startup was founded by Rajesh Narkar, a former executive at Myntra and AJIO, along with Louis Coucke, who previously worked with H&M India.

Confluxe is building a technology-enabled operating platform designed to help global fashion and lifestyle brands enter and expand in the Indian market.

According to the startup, the newly raised funds will be used to establish its first brand partnerships, develop its technology and data infrastructure, and grow its core team across brand operations, commerce, and growth functions.

The startup aims to address challenges faced by international brands trying to enter India, where the process often involves complex supply chains, fragmented distribution channels, and high capital requirements. Confluxe plans to position itself as an operating layer between global brands and the Indian market.

Its platform integrates services such as market entry strategy, digital commerce management, data-driven merchandising, and localized manufacturing through a “Make in India” supply chain model.

The company will initially focus on onboarding its first brand partners and building the operational and technological framework needed to support their expansion in India.

AI Nursing Skilling Platform NPrep Secures USD 1.5 Mn

Founded in 2024 by Prince Kaushik, Utkarsh Paliwal, and Gourav Khurana, NPrep focuses on helping nursing students and professionals prepare for government and global healthcare job opportunities. The startup plans to use the fresh funds to strengthen its AI-powered learning platform, expand exam-focused study material, and reach more nursing candidates across India.

According to the startup, the platform seeks to address challenges faced by students in tier II and tier III cities by offering structured learning and placement support tailored to the nursing sector.

NPrep provides more than 1,400 hours of exam-aligned video lessons along with personalised study plans. The platform also includes an AI mentor, curated questions based on past exam data, and individual performance tracking designed to help candidates improve their exam outcomes.

Within ten months of launch, the startup says over 1,00,000 nurses across India have used its platform, collectively consuming more than six million minutes of video content and answering over 31 million practice questions.
