YatriKart has announced a INR 120 crore partnership with MMG Group to set up 1,000 Quick Stop stores across India over five years. Under the Franchise Invested, Company Operated (FICO) model, MMG Group will fund store infrastructure and capital expenditure, while YatriKart manages operating expenditure, technology, supply chain, staffing and daily operations. MMG Group first backed YatriKart through a strategic equity investment in 2024.
“Our aim is to make YatriKart the familiar quick stop for these everyday moments. Our focus is on making each store dependable for the customer and building an operating model that can scale through technology, a strong supply chain and consistent execution,” said Gaurav Rana, Founder and CEO, YatriKart.
The first phase targets 100 stores across Delhi NCR, with deployment already under way, focused on high-footfall locations such as fuel stations, highways, bus stands and other transit hubs, before expanding to other markets. YatriKart currently runs 80-plus stores across eight cities, at petrol pumps, highways, hospitals, corporate parks and transit hubs. The compact stores sell coffee, food, beverages and everyday essentials. The 1,000-store rollout is part of a wider plan for 5,000 Quick Stop stores over five years.
YatriKart will also launch a consumer app that lets customers find stores along their routes, order ahead and receive products in their vehicles at participating fuel stations and designated locations.
“The team has worked across Indian Railways, Delhi Metro, hotels, hospitals and temples, and built a partner network of around 500 stores. It has also established corporate partnerships that provide a potential location pool of around 60,000 sites. We are backing both the market opportunity and a team that has learned, adapted and built the foundations for growth,” said Anant Agarwal, Promoter, MMG Group.
