The Pant Project, a premium menswear brand built around bottomwear, has raised INR 109 crore in a Series B round led by Mirae Asset Venture Investments (India). Existing investor Sorin Investments also participated, along with family offices and angel investors including Anisha Saraf, B&K Securities, MGA Ventures and B2V Ventures. The company has also secured venture debt from Alteria Capital. IndigoEdge was the investment banker.
Founded by brothers Dhruv and Udit Toshniwal, the company began as a digital-first bottomwear specialist, selling on its own website, Myntra and Amazon, and now through its own stores. Its signature products include Malai Pants and Inklock No Fade Black Jeans. According to Sorin Investments, revenue has grown more than 5x since its Series A, with strong repeat rates.
The brand operates 25 exclusive brand stores and plans to grow the network to 150 over the next two to three years. The fresh capital will also fund expansion into adjacent categories, including jeans, athleisure and casualwear, adoption of retail technology and a stronger omnichannel presence.
“The Pant Project started as a digital-first brand – that foundation gave us the data, the product knowledge and the brand equity to now go deep offline,” said Dhruv Toshniwal, Founder and CEO, The Pant Project.
“As premium menswear becomes one of India’s most compelling consumer opportunities, The Pant Project is well positioned to lead it,” said Puneet Kumar, Managing Director, Mirae Asset Venture Fund.
Founder and Creative Director Udit added, “The Pant Project started with a simple belief: Indian men deserve better-fitting bottomwear. Our approach has always been to identify real consumer problems and solve them through innovative design, and deep manufacturing expertise. As we scale, we’re building more than a menswear brand. We’re creating products and innovations that can help shape the future of apparel in India.”
