Anthropic Expands Claude Startups, Offers USD 50K+ in Perks
Anthropic expands Claude Startups, offering founders over USD 50,000 in AI credits and tool discounts.

Anthropic has expanded Claude Startups, a program designed to help founders building with AI jumpstart their businesses. Launched in May 2026, the program previously offered eligible startups Claude credits and access to a founder community; the expansion adds a free year of Claude Team, a plan for small and medium-sized businesses, along with up to USD 45,000 in discounts and credits for other AI tools, bringing the total package to more than USD 50,000.
Under the expansion, members get up to USD 7,500 in Claude products and credits, including a free year of Claude Team with five Premium seats offering higher usage limits than standard seats, plus USD 1,000 in API credits to integrate Claude into business operations. The program also introduces the Claude Startup Stack, a set of up to 18 partner AI tools offering exclusive discounts and credits, including Attention, ElevenLabs, Granola and Lovable, covering use cases spanning revenue tracking, customer support agents, meeting notes and software development.
Founders who started their companies within the last five years, or received funding in the last two years, are eligible to apply at no cost through the Claude Startups website.
The expansion comes as AI plays a growing role in company-building: a 2026 survey of roughly 2,000 startup builders by Supabase found that 63% used Claude Code to build their products, while 10% used ChatGPT or Codex. The move also positions Anthropic to draw more founders into its ecosystem amid intensifying competition with OpenAI, which runs its own startup program, as well as Google and Meta.
