MoU

Under this collaboration, startups recognised by DPIIT through the Startup India initiative will gain the opportunity to take part in Maruti Suzuki's innovation programs.

The ambitious project is expected to generate over 10,000 high-skilled jobs over the next five years, tapping into the region's growing talent ecosystem.

The MoU aims to promote collaboration between Indian and Japanese startups by creating new business opportunities and expanding access to each other's innovation ecosystems.

This strategic collaboration will focus on enhancing financial awareness through investor awareness programs (IAPs), guiding women-led micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in accessing capital via NSE's EMERGE platform, and implementing a comprehensive Student Skilling Program in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.

With this alliance, rural India will benefit from AI-driven sanitation, IoT-powered infrastructure, and sustainable digital ecosystems, directly impacting over 7 crore families.

Through this partnership, Tech Mahindra and OU will focus on advancing research in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), Generative AI (GenAI), and other high-tech solutions.

The partnership aims to provide funding solutions for project finance, machinery and equipment purchases, working capital needs, and loans against property. Additionally, both institutions will explore joint financing opportunities to expand credit access for MSMEs.

The collaboration will leverage AI and ML in healthcare, sustainability, and education, focusing on skill development, societal challenges, and supporting startups to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and citizen empowerment.

Earlier the government signed a similar MoU with the US in March 2023

Under this agreement, BAS and BWA aim to jointly participate in blockchain-related advocacy, educational conferences, expos, and workshops

According to the company, under the MoU, it will also launch a dedicated 'Soul of India' microsite for the global audience showcasing India's rich culture and built heritage
