Bihar Signs MoU with Tiger Analytics to Establish Mega AI Centre of Excellence

Bihar has taken a major step toward becoming a centre for AI development. Tiger Analytics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Bihar to set up a Mega Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) in the state.
The agreement was signed at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, in the presence of senior government officials and industry representatives.
The proposed centre aims to build one of India’s largest AI ecosystem hubs focused on talent development, innovation and responsible adoption of artificial intelligence.
The AI CoE will be developed in collaboration with IIT Patna as the knowledge partner, along with other ecosystem stakeholders. It will support research, infrastructure development and AI-enabled citizen services. A key focus will be large-scale upskilling programmes designed to equip students, professionals and institutions across Bihar with skills needed for an AI-enabled economy.
As the designated industry partner, Tiger Analytics will contribute its global expertise to design and deliver AI training programmes for students, professionals and government officials. The company will also undertake applied research aligned with the state’s development priorities and develop scalable AI solutions for governance and public service delivery.

At the AI Impact Expo held alongside the summit, Tiger Analytics showcased AI applications for public systems at the Bihar Pavilion, highlighting opportunities in data engineering, machine learning and analytics.
The initiative reflects growing collaboration between government, academia and industry to translate AI innovation into real-world impact.
