Neelam Dhawan to Lead Delhivery Board as New Chairperson from April 2026
Dhawan succeeds Deepak Kapoor, who is stepping down from the board after serving for more than eight years.
Delhivery has announced the appointment of Neelam Dhawan as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective March 20, 2026. The company said Dhawan will also take over as Chairperson of its Board of Directors from April 1, 2026, marking a key leadership transition at the logistics firm.
Dhawan succeeds Deepak Kapoor, who is stepping down from the board after serving for more than eight years. His departure was disclosed earlier in a regulatory filing dated January 31, 2026.

Dhawan brings over three decades of experience in the technology sector, having held senior leadership roles at major firms including Microsoft Corporation (India) Private Limited and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise India Private Limited. She has led large-scale digital and IT transformation initiatives across industries such as banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, and government.
An economics graduate from St. Stephen’s College and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Dhawan is also known for her contributions to industry bodies and advocacy for diversity in technology. She previously served on the executive council of NASSCOM from 2009 to 2017.
Currently, she holds independent director positions on the boards of several companies, including Hindustan Unilever Limited and Tech Mahindra Limited.
