Tsecond.ai, an edge AI and data infrastructure startup, has raised over USD 21.5 million (around INR 190 crore) in funding led by MSN Holdings, the family office of Solar Industries India MD and CEO Manish Nuwal.
The investment, structured across multiple rounds over the past two years, will be used to expand the company’s capabilities in defence and mission critical AI infrastructure.
Founded by Sahil Chawla, Tsecond.ai develops ruggedised edge computing and data systems for defence, aerospace and enterprise applications. Its flagship platform, BRYCK, combines large scale data storage with high performance AI computing in a compact, deployable system designed for use in remote and disconnected environments.
The platform enables real time data processing and decision making without relying on cloud connectivity, addressing operational challenges in areas with limited or no network access.
The startup said its systems are already deployed across defence programmes in markets including the United States, United Kingdom, India and parts of Europe.
Tsecond.ai operates within a growing defence technology ecosystem in India. Other startups in this space include IdeaForge, which builds unmanned aerial vehicles for surveillance, and Tonbo Imaging, known for imaging and sensor systems.
Firms such as Zuppa and Craic Precision are also working on AI driven drone and battlefield technologies, reflecting broader activity in edge AI and defence innovation.
