Founded in 2022 by Anand Tumuluru and Sundar Annamalai, Loop AI provides an enterprise-grade platform designed to automate complex tasks across finance, operations and marketing for restaurant and retail businesses.

The platform operates as an agentic AI co-worker, helping brands streamline back-office workflows. Loop AI said it is currently used by more than 300 public and private brands, supporting thousands of locations across the United States.

Since 2024, the company claims to have grown sixfold and now supports thousands of restaurants. Loop AI said customers including Lazy Dog and Starbird have reported around 10% growth while increasing transaction volumes using its agentic workflows.

“Delivery is the new drive-thru, and it is poised to fuel the next decade of growth for the restaurant industry,” said Anand Tumuluru, Co-founder and CEO of Loop AI. “As consumer behavior continues to shift towards takeout and delivery, our mission to make delivery more profitable for restaurant operators has never been more vital.”

Tumuluru added that the Series A backing would help the company continue building tools to address changing consumer preferences and industry dynamics.

According to the company, the shift toward delivery is influencing site selection, channel strategy, margins and operational efficiency. Loop AI said its technology enables operators to scale off-premise revenue while maintaining in-store margin levels.
