Fashinza, a fashion supply chain platform, has acquired Qckin, a Bengaluru-based startup focused on manufacturing-led design-to-delivery services, as it looks to strengthen its production capabilities and streamline sourcing for global brands.

The company said the acquisition is part of its broader strategy to combine technology-driven sourcing with specialised manufacturing. This is expected to help fashion brands move from design to production faster and at lower cost. The move also comes at a time when global brands are diversifying their sourcing strategies amid shifting geopolitical conditions and changing trade dynamics.

As part of the deal, Qckin’s founders, Srinivasan Premkumar and Manojkumar Mahaveer Patil, will continue to lead operations and collaborate with Fashinza to scale manufacturing across India and Bangladesh. The focus will be on high-demand categories such as shirts, T-shirts, jeans, trousers, and woven tops.

Initially, Qckin’s facility will concentrate on shirts and woven tops, with plans to expand its production capacity over time. The acquisition is expected to support Fashinza’s efforts to build a more resilient supply chain by strengthening its network of captive manufacturing facilities.

Founded in 2020 and based in Gurugram, Fashinza operates an AI-powered B2B marketplace that offers end-to-end solutions from design to delivery. The platform works with brands including Shein, Reliance Retail, Myntra, and The Bear House. The company recently reported profitability, supported by growth in its European business.

Fashinza also plans to expand its manufacturing footprint across multiple locations in India through further acquisitions and partnerships, as it positions itself as a technology-led partner in the evolving global apparel supply chain.
