Seeds Fincap, a Gurugram-based NBFC, has raised more than INR 100 crore (USD 10.4 million) in a Series B round led by Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Existing investors Z47 and Lok Capital, along with new investors Norinchukin Capital and Alteria Capital, also participated in the round.
This follows a INR 50 crore round led by Z47 and Lok Capital last year, and an USD 8.5 million Series A round led by Lok Capital and Matrix Partners India (now Z47) in July 2024. The fresh capital will go toward expanding into new markets and strengthening the company’s branch network, technology and risk management capabilities, as it targets INR 1,000 crore in AUM by March 2027.
Founded in 2021 by Subhash Chandra Acharya, Avishek Sarkar and Sumeet Dhall, Seeds Fincap provides credit to underserved individual and MSME borrowers, offering loans ranging from INR 50,000 to INR 10 lakh using a cash-flow-based assessment approach. The company primarily serves nano enterprises and small businesses, combining technology with field teams across sourcing, onboarding, credit assessment, documentation, collections and portfolio monitoring.
Seeds Fincap closed both FY25 and FY26 profitably, disbursing around INR 620 crore in FY26. Its AUM stood at INR 722 crore as of August 2026, with a network of 164 branches and more than 70,000 active members.
