K Hospitality Corp has announced the launch of Kliff Ventures, a new consumer retail fund that plans to deploy INR 200 crore in high-growth businesses across food and beverage, retail, and consumer services.
The move marks the company’s entry into investment-led expansion, building on its decades of experience in the hospitality and food services sector.
The fund is designed to partner with founders of emerging consumer brands and help them scale through a combination of capital and operational expertise.
According to the company, Kliff Ventures will work closely with a select group of high-potential companies. It plans to provide strategic guidance, execution support, and access to industry networks to help businesses navigate different stages of growth.
Karan Kapur, Executive Director at K Hospitality Corp and Kliff Ventures, said, “India has built some exceptional consumer retail brands, and we believe the opportunity ahead is even larger.” He added, “Through Kliff Ventures, we want to work closely with ambitious founders and help them scale with not just capital, but real operating experience, strategic support and long-term partnerships.”
The fund will focus on early and growth-stage companies that demonstrate strong consumer demand, sustainable business models, and long-term category potential. It will also leverage K Hospitality’s existing ecosystem to accelerate growth and create long-term value for its portfolio companies.
Founded in 1972, K Hospitality Corp operates a wide range of food and hospitality businesses, including quick service restaurants, cafés, catering services, and airport lounges. The company claims to have a presence across more than 600 locations in eight countries and employs over 10,000 people.
With Kliff Ventures, the group aims to support the next generation of consumer retail leaders while expanding its role beyond operations into strategic investments in India’s growing consumer market.
