Gravity, a full-stack platform for premium home interior materials, has raised USD 15 million in a mix of equity and debt funding led by 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Alteria Capital, Genesia Ventures and a group of angel investors.
Founded by former Livspace leaders Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, Gravity brings together specialist businesses across India’s kitchen and wardrobe ecosystem on a shared technology, distribution and key-account infrastructure. The company starts with an existing multi-hundred-crore revenue base and positive EBITDA, and plans to expand over time into adjacent categories including doors and windows, lighting, wall surfaces and home automation.
India’s home interiors market is estimated at approximately INR 3.5 lakh crore (USD 35 billion), with a design-specified material pool of roughly INR 1.5 lakh crore (USD 15 billion). Gravity’s initial focus is the material wallet controlled by design-and-build studios and modular showrooms, aiming to simplify sourcing across a supply landscape that remains fragmented across dealers, distributors and single-category suppliers.
The capital will go toward strengthening Gravity’s technology, distribution and key-account infrastructure, supporting category expansion, building brand capabilities, and funding working capital. Saurabh Jain previously served as CEO India at Livspace, helping scale the business to an annualised revenue run rate of around INR 1,500 crore, while Lalit Mittal served as Chief Business Officer India, leading Livspace’s expansion across 30 cities.
“Over the last decade, organised design and execution have transformed the home interiors market. However, the materials layer behind every project remains fragmented and complex. We are building Gravity to make sourcing simpler, more dependable and more efficient through a platform designed around the needs of the industry,” said Saurabh Jain, Co-founder, Gravity.
