Flo Mobility Secures USD 2.5 Mn Pre-Series A Funding

Bengaluru-based construction robotics startup Flo Mobility has raised USD 2.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round co-led by Mela Ventures and Arali Ventures. 

The startup plans to use the funds to scale its manufacturing capabilities, enhance its AI and autonomy technologies, and expand deployments across India and international markets, particularly in the Middle East.

Founded in 2021 by Manesh Jain and Pratik Patel, Flo Mobility focuses on building robotics solutions for the construction sector. Its technology is designed to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across large and complex project sites.

The startup’s flagship product, Flo Hauler, is a battery-powered autonomous robot capable of carrying loads of up to 1.5 tonnes. It is built to operate in dynamic and unstructured construction environments, including multi-floor sites and varying weather conditions.

Flo Mobility said it has already deployed over 60 robots across 10 states in India, working with real estate and infrastructure developers such as L&T, Godrej Properties, Embassy Group, Sobha, and Capacite Infra.

MFI Sindhuja Microcredit Bags USD 5 Mn in Pre-Series D

Noida-based NBFC-MFI Sindhuja Microcredit has raised USD 5 million (around INR 47 crore) in a pre-Series D funding round from existing investors Abler Nordic, GAWA Capital through the Huruma Fund, and Oikocredit. 

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the company’s capital base, expand its lending operations, and improve access to credit for underserved segments.

Founded by Abhisheka Kumar and Malkit Singh Didyala, Sindhuja Microcredit focuses on providing financial services to self-employed women entrepreneurs, small traders, shopkeepers, and farmers in rural and semi-urban areas. The company aims to bridge the credit gap for individuals and small businesses that often face challenges in accessing formal financial services.

Over the past eight years, the firm says it has served more than 5 lakh borrowers across 12 states. It currently operates through 366 branches and manages assets worth over INR 1,100 crore, reflecting its growing presence in the microfinance sector.

Bobakat Parent Kathy’s Beverages Raises INR 6 Cr in Pre-Series A

Mumbai-based beverage startup Kathy’s Beverages, which operates the bubble tea brand Bobakat, has raised INR 6 crore in a pre-Series A funding round. 

The startup plans to use the funds for product innovation, team expansion, marketing initiatives, and scaling its offline presence across India.

Founded in 2024 by Dr Rupali Ambegaonkar and Sannjeev Rao, Bobakat caters to urban consumers with a range of bubble teas and beverages. The brand currently operates compact-format outlets located in food courts and high streets, focusing on accessibility and quick service formats.

The startup claims to have served over 10 lakh consumers since its launch and is targeting INR 100 crore in net sales value over the next 36 months. 

As part of its growth strategy, the startup plans to open 35 new stores in FY27, followed by 50 outlets each in the subsequent two financial years, expanding across metro cities as well as emerging urban markets.

Dr Ambegaonkar previously founded Tea Culture of the World, while Rao has held leadership roles across retail and consumer-focused companies.

SCIKIQ Raises USD 1.5 Mn in Pre-Series A Round

SCIKIQ, an enterprise intelligence platform, has raised USD 1.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Triton Fund II. 

The Gurugram-based startup said the funds will be used to expand its global presence, enhance artificial intelligence capabilities, and scale its platform.

Founded in 2023 by Gaurav Shinh and Rohit Kumar, SCIKIQ provides an AI-native platform designed to help enterprises turn fragmented data into actionable insights. Its offering combines data governance, analytics, conversational AI, AutoML, and generative AI tools within a unified data hub.

The startup aims to help organisations integrate siloed data, streamline operations, and improve decision-making. SCIKIQ serves sectors including BFSI, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, and healthcare, with clients such as the London Stock Exchange, Aster Hospitals, and BrandSafway.
