Belong, an IFSCA-regulated investment platform for global Indians, has crossed USD 20 million in assets under management, growing over 20% month-on-month since its 2025 launch. Founded in 2024, the platform has expanded from serving NRIs in the UAE to users across 39-plus countries, with over 55,000 active users and 50,000-plus NRIs registered in its first 12 months.

Belong’s product suite has grown from USD fixed deposits to include GIFT City mutual funds, Alternative Investment Funds, GIFT Nifty Futures trading, FCNR deposit facilitation, and Indian tax filing services for NRIs. The company is now expanding into US stocks and ETFs, remittance services, and a global multi-currency card.

India received over USD 135 billion in remittances in 2025, the highest globally. IFSCA has reported that diaspora investments into GIFT City funds have crossed USD 7 billion, as the ecosystem offers NRIs a route into foreign currency-denominated products outside traditional NRE/NRO account requirements.

“Global Indians are increasingly looking beyond remittances and asking how their money is actually allocated, in which currency, in which product, and at what tax cost. Crossing USD 20 million in AUM while growing at over 20% month on month tells us that shift is real,” said Ankur Choudhary, Co-founder and CEO, Belong.
