India’s startup funding landscape recorded USD 28.3 million across 12 equity rounds during September 11-17, compared to USD 213.4 million across 19 rounds in the previous week, a decline of 86.74%. Funding was down 91.19% compared to the week before that, which saw USD 321.4 million raised across 26 rounds.

The week’s funding activity was largely driven by early-stage funding, which accounted for USD 18.5 million, while seed-stage startups raised USD 9.8 million. No late-stage rounds were recorded during the week. The week also witnessed one tech IPO and one acquisition.
