Tiea Connectors, a Bengaluru-based manufacturer of interconnect and contact solutions, has raised INR 77 crore (USD 8 million) in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures. 

The round also saw participation from Jamwant Ventures, 8X Ventures, and several high net-worth individual investors.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its manufacturing infrastructure, strengthen research and development, enhance product engineering, and improve automation capabilities. 

It also aims to scale operations across sectors including electric mobility, aerospace, defence, avionics, and industrial applications.

Founded by Ajith Sasidharan and his team, Tiea Connectors develops high-performance connectors and precision components for mission-critical applications. 

The firm works closely with original equipment manufacturers and focuses on areas such as product design, rapid prototyping, tooling, material engineering, miniaturisation, and precision manufacturing.
