Maruti Suzuki India Limited has selected six startups under the 10th cohort of its flagship Accelerator Program to co-create technology-driven solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, safety, and customer experience.
The selected startups—Goat Robotics, SheerDrive, Schijnenn Digital, GenbaNEXT, Swayatt Drishtigochar, and Swiftex—have been awarded paid proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to collaborate with the company on AI-led and advanced technology solutions.
The initiative is part of Maruti Suzuki’s broader effort to integrate new-age technologies into its manufacturing and business processes. The solutions being developed are expected to enhance plant safety, reduce product design and development timelines, improve material-level traceability, and strengthen customer engagement across its dealership network.
Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “As our operations continue to grow, the solutions that we are co-creating with these startups will enable us to further improve safety in our plants, help reduce product design and development lead time, strengthen material traceability to support our circularity efforts, and help our dealer sales executives engage with customers more efficiently.”
Each startup will focus on a specific operational area:
- Goat Robotics – Safe and efficient movement of materials
- SheerDrive – Real-time, market-linked used car price visualizer
- Schijnenn Digital – Shortening product design and development cycles
- GenbaNEXT – Material traceability to aid circularity efforts
- Swayatt Drishtigochar – Predictive maintenance and safe operation of industrial equipment
- Swiftex – Sales assistance platform for dealer executives to improve customer engagement
Takeuchi added, “At Maruti Suzuki, we are committed to support Government of India’s ‘Startup India’ initiative through our innovation programs. These programs provide startups mentorship, access to our facilities, and opportunities to work with our teams in real business situations.”
Over the past seven years, Maruti Suzuki has screened more than 6,800 startups and engaged with over 250, of which 34 have been onboarded as partners. Through programs such as the Accelerator, Incubation Program, Mobility Challenge, and Nurture, the company continues to work with startups across stages to address real-world challenges and build future-ready mobility solutions.
