ClayCo Raises INR 34.59 Cr in Series A Led by Twenty-Nine Capital

ClayCo, a Mumbai-based skincare brand, has raised INR 34.59 crore (around USD 3.7 million) in a Series A funding round led by Twenty-Nine Capital Partners Ventures, with participation from ICMG Global Ventures.
The brand had previously secured USD 2 million from Unilever Ventures in October 2024 as its first external investment.
The fresh funds will be used to accelerate product development, expand into new categories, and strengthen working capital.
Founded in 2023 by Niharika Jhunjhunwala, ClayCo focuses on skincare products that blend natural ingredients with modern formulations. Its initial range, “Rituals of Japan,” features products such as cleansers, moisturizers, serums, and essences inspired by ingredients like rice, sake, and azuki beans.
The brand has reported strong growth, with revenue rising from INR 5 crore in FY24 to INR 33 crore in FY25, and reaching INR 72 crore in FY26.
ClayCo sells its products through its direct-to-consumer platform and online marketplaces including Nykaa, Amazon, and Tira, along with quick commerce platforms. It also plans to expand into body care and hair care segments.
