MakeO, the parent company of clear aligner brand Toothsi, has raised INR 90 crore (about USD 9.4 million) in a funding round led by Singularity AMC. DSP family office, Genesis and Unispace Ventures also participated, along with other funds and family offices. Some outlets have reported the round at USD 10 million.
The funds will go toward expanding its offline clinic network across India and Southeast Asia, and the company is evaluating acquisitions of dental and aligner businesses in both regions.
The raise follows MakeO’s acquisition of Singapore-based Zenyum, which expanded its presence across Southeast and North Asia. The group now has about 1,100 partner dentists across 10 countries. In 2025, MakeO also acquired Apple Dental for INR 10.9 crore in a cash-and-stock deal, adding 20 clinics across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Founded in 2018, MakeO designs and manufactures clear aligners at a facility in the Mumbai region, selling them through Toothsi in India and Zenyum in other Asian markets. In 2022, it merged its Toothsi and Skinnsi brands under MakeO to offer dental, skin and hair treatments on one platform. The combined business has crossed INR 500 crore in revenue and turned EBITDA profitable earlier this year. MakeO had raised over USD 100 million before this round from investors including Eight Roads Ventures, 360 ONE Asset and Paramark Ventures.
“It will allow us to invest in and strengthen our end-to-end platform across consumer experience, clinical centres, backend technology and manufacturing facilities,” said Dr Arpi Mehta, Group CEO and Co-founder, MakeO.
