India’s startup funding landscape recorded USD 204.18 million across 16 equity rounds during September 25-October 1, compared to USD 102.65 million across 13 rounds in the previous week, an increase of 98.92%. Funding was up 661.41% compared to the week before that, which saw USD 26.82 million raised across 12 rounds.

The week’s funding activity was largely driven by late-stage funding, which accounted for USD 180 million, while early-stage startups raised USD 20.63 million and seed-stage startups raised USD 3.55 million. The week also witnessed two tech IPOs and one acquisition.
