Bubble Tea Brand Boba Bhai Secures INR 40 Cr Funding Round
Bengaluru-based bubble tea and Korean street food brand Boba Bhai has raised INR 40 crore in a funding round led by existing investors 8i Ventures, Titan Capital’s Winners Fund, and Global Growth Capital.
The round also saw participation from new investors including BIG Capital and several angel investors.
The round was raised at five times the valuation of its Series A funding completed a year ago, reflecting its growth over the past 12 months.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate store expansion across tier-I cities and enter select tier-II markets. It also plans to strengthen leadership and operational teams, expand its Korean-inspired food and beverage offerings, and introduce new packaged products designed for quick-commerce platforms.
Founded in 2023 by Dhruv Kohli, the brand focuses on Korean-inspired fusion cuisine and bubble tea. It offers more than 45 bubble tea flavours along with Korean-style burgers, fried chicken, rice and noodle bowls, and fries.
Boba Bhai currently operates around 90 outlets across India, including dine-in locations and delivery-focused cloud kitchens. The company reported revenue of INR 5 crore in FY24, which rose to INR 30 crore in FY25, and aims to cross INR 100 crore in annual recurring revenue in the coming months.
Fintech Startup Coreworks.AI Bags USD 5 Mn Seed Funding
Fintech startup Coreworks.AI has raised USD 5 million in a seed funding round led by Together Fund.
The startup plans to use the capital to develop and expand its artificial intelligence platform designed to help businesses generate data-driven reports and presentations.
Founded in 2025 by Prashant Kumar and Pavan Sondur, the startup is building an AI-powered product called AI SuperAnalyst. The platform is designed as a suite of autonomous agents that can convert business data into complete reports and presentation decks within minutes. The startup has also opened an early waitlist for the product.
Coreworks said the platform connects with enterprise systems such as ERP software, CRM tools, financial models, and spreadsheets to analyse business data. It can generate spreadsheet models, written insights, and slide presentations, with numbers that can be traced back to the original data sources.
The platform also includes tools for creating presentations with charts and tables that align with a company’s design templates. It is built with enterprise security features, including SOC 2 readiness, end-to-end encryption, and safeguards to ensure customer data is not used to train AI models.
Namma Yatri Raises USD 4.4 Mn in Pre-Series A Extension
Bengaluru-based ride-hailing platform Namma Yatri has raised INR 39.75 crore (about USD 4.4 million) in a pre-Series A extension round led by Vimal Kumar. Existing investors including Blume Ventures and Antler also participated in the round.
The funding comes nearly two years after the company raised USD 11 million from Blume Ventures, Antler, and Google in July 2024.
The board of Moving Tech, which operates Namma Yatri and other mobility apps, approved the issuance of 1.26 crore compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at INR 31.57 per share to raise the fresh capital, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies.
