Practo elevates Shashank ND Singh to Executive Chairman, names Jagnoor Singh as new CEO effective September 1.

Practo has announced a new leadership structure to support its next phase of growth. Founder and CEO Shashank ND Singh has been elevated to Managing Director and Executive Chairman, while Jagnoor Singh, previously Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026.
As Executive Chairman, Shashank ND Singh will continue to shape Practo’s vision, product and strategy, leading the company’s innovation agenda, capital strategy, inorganic growth and corporate development. Jagnoor Singh, who joined Practo as COO in January 2025, will lead overall strategy, growth and operations across global markets. He previously held senior operating roles at Bharti Airtel, Unacademy and OYO.
Practo has also elevated two long-standing leaders. Co-founder Siddhartha Nihalani has taken on the additional role of Chief Operating Officer – B2C, overseeing consumer businesses, while Rowel Coelho, previously Head of Monetization, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer – B2B, overseeing enterprise and corporate businesses. Co-founder Abhinav Lal has been named Chief Scientist, a research-focused role leading Practo’s exploration of AI applications in healthcare.
The leadership expansion follows Practo’s consumer platform expansion into the UAE and the United States. The company now operates a network of over 700,000 doctors and healthcare providers across more than 2,400 cities, and its Insta hospital information management system serves over 500 clients across 1,200-plus facilities globally.
