Lentra, an intelligent decisioning platform for lending, has acquired Data Harbor, a real-time AI-powered data science company, marking its entry into the analytics space.
The acquisition will strengthen the Lentra Intelligence Stack, which sits atop a lender’s institutional data to provide insights, recommendations and automation across the loan lifecycle. Founded by Ephraim Goldin, Data Harbor was spun off from G-STAT, an Israeli big-data analytics company, with its team bringing 20 years of experience in big-data projects across fintech and retail. Its technology in real-time data consolidation and predictive analytics will be integrated into Lentra’s platform.
“Technology is becoming increasingly commoditised, and data is becoming more democratised. What will increasingly differentiate banks is the intelligence they have built and how effectively they can use it,” said Rajesh Kumar, CEO, Lentra.
Founded in 2019, Lentra serves 43 banks, has processed more than $20 billion in loans, and handles 3 million applications monthly. It is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Susquehanna, HDFC Bank, MUFG, Citibank and Dharana Capital.
