JSW Greentech, the electric commercial vehicle arm of the Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Group, has selected Dassault Systèmes to implement a manufacturing execution system (MES) at its production facility in India.
The company will deploy Dassault Systèmes’ DELMIA Apriso applications to build a digital platform across the plant floor. The system will manage operations for JSW Greentech’s electric trucks and buses from the start of production, connecting production execution with quality control and material tracking.
JSW Greentech is setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility spread across 90 acres in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, with an annual capacity of 10,000 e-buses and 5,000 e-trucks. The company, headquartered in Mumbai, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Green Mobility Limited, incorporated in December 2024 as part of JSW Group’s push into sustainable commercial mobility.
Sumit Mittal, Chief Executive Officer, JSW Greentech, said the partnership with Dassault Systèmes brings global expertise and digital capabilities to the company’s manufacturing ecosystem, aimed at creating a connected, technology-led operating environment.
Deepak NG, Managing Director for India, Dassault Systèmes, said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing and virtual twin technology to support India’s EV ecosystem.
