Graph AI, developer of the Graph Safety platform for pharmacovigilance and patient safety, has raised USD 13.3 million in Series A funding led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners.
Founded in 2024, Graph AI built Graph Safety to reduce manual processing and operational workload for pharma safety teams, allowing them to focus on analysis and decision-making. The platform combines AI with deterministic controls, validation layers and end-to-end audit trails for regulated pharmacovigilance environments, keeping output and source data traceable for inspection readiness and human oversight.
Graph Safety has been designed with reference to the FDA’s risk-based credibility assessment framework for AI in regulatory decision-making, the EU AI Act, and the CIOMS Working Group XIV report on AI in pharmacovigilance. In live deployments, the platform has cut case processing turnaround time from over three hours to under 10 minutes, a reduction of more than 90%, and lowered operating costs by up to 66%.
Since raising its seed round in October 2025, Graph AI has launched two modules: /intake, which captures and triages adverse-event reports across channels, and nucleus, an intelligent safety database that automates case processing end to end. A third module, /report, for automated aggregate reporting, is set to launch this September. The company has onboarded pharmaceutical and biotech customers across North America and other markets, and secured design partnerships for /signal, an upcoming module for surfacing emerging safety signals across cases.
“Pharmacovigilance has traditionally scaled against rising case volumes by adding people and processes around legacy systems. Graph Safety gives safety experts an intelligent system that takes on operational complexity, while keeping traceability, accountability and human oversight at the center,” said Raghav Parvataraju, CEO, Graph AI.
