Bank locker infrastructure startup Aurm has raised INR 42 crore in a seed funding round co-led by Earth Fund and Sattva Ventures, with participation from several angel investors.
The funding will be used to expand the company’s technology-driven vaulting and secure storage solutions.
Founded in 2023 by Vijay Arisetty, Suraj HS, Pratap Chandana, and Ganesh Balakrishnan, Aurm offers automated, high-security safety deposit lockers designed for residential gated communities and corporate campuses. The platform enables users to access secure storage within their premises, addressing the limited availability of traditional bank lockers.
Aurm’s offering includes fully automated lockers housed in strong rooms with features such as 24/7 access, multi-factor authentication, and continuous surveillance systems. The company positions its model as a “vault-at-your-doorstep” solution, aiming to combine convenience with enhanced security.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to scale its infrastructure and improve automation, while also increasing accessibility across more locations. It is focusing on integrating its solutions into residential complexes, corporate clusters, and financial institutions.
Earth Fund, one of the lead investors, focuses on real estate and proptech innovation and provides portfolio companies with access to developer networks and industry expertise, supporting deployment and expansion efforts.
