Apna Mart has raised INR 120 crore in a Series C funding round co-led by existing investors Accel and Fundamentum, with Peak XV Partners also participating. The round values the company at around INR 1,470 crore, nearly double of its previous funding round.
The company plans to use the fresh capital towards capital expenditure, working capital requirements and general corporate purposes as it expands its operations.
Founded by Abhishek Singh and Chetan Garg, Apna Mart operates an omnichannel grocery retail platform focused on Tier II and Tier III cities. The company follows a franchise-led model, enabling customers to order groceries online with deliveries in around 10 minutes while also serving walk-in customers through its neighbourhood stores. It competes with players such as Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and Zepto, while differentiating itself through its hybrid online-offline model.
Apna Mart reported operating revenue of around INR 185 crore and a net loss of INR 76 crore for the financial year ended March 2025. The company has claimed that its revenue grew 2.5 times to approximately INR 500 crore in FY26, although the latest financial statements have not yet been filed publicly.
The fundraise follows organizational changes at the company earlier this year. In May 2026, Apna Mart reduced around 10% of its workforce as part of a restructuring exercise linked to AI adoption and shifted its headquarters from Bengaluru to Gurugram to align its operations more closely with its core markets.
